Catching up

Catch up on group chats without scrolling back

Unread counts in the hundreds are not a reading problem, they are a summarising problem. A daily digest means there is never a backlog to face in the first place.

Only your chosen groups are read. Content is encrypted and deleted within 24 hours.

The backlog only grows

Once a group is a day behind, catching up costs more than it is worth, so it slips to two days, then a week, and then you are muting it and hoping nothing important happens. The unread badge stops being information and becomes something you avoid. Reading it all is not realistic and skipping it all has a cost.

How the backlog stops forming

  • A summary every day means the most you are ever behind is one day
  • Reply now to catch up on the last 24 hours whenever you want
  • Pause while you are away, resume when you are back
  • Every group you follow in a single message, not one per group
  • Skim the headings, read the one that matters
An example digest. One message, one heading per group.

What happens to your messages

  • Only the groups you choose are ever read
  • Message content is encrypted and deleted within 24 hours
  • Your digests are never stored
  • Nothing is used to train an AI model
  • Reply deletemydata to erase your account and everything in it

Questions

Can it summarise messages from before I signed up?

No. DigestIt only reads messages that arrive after you connect, and only from the groups you choose. There is no history backfill.

What happens while I am on holiday?

Reply pause before you go and resume when you are back. A paused account does not spend digests.

How far back does one digest go?

The last 24 hours of the groups you follow.

Never face a backlog again
