Your group chats, summarised once a day

Pick the WhatsApp groups you actually care about. Once a day, DigestIt sends you one clear summary of what happened in them — as a WhatsApp message, at a time you choose.

Only your chosen groups are read. Content is encrypted and deleted within 24 hours.

This is the whole product

One message a day, one heading per group. That is it — there is nothing else to open, check or log into.

An example digest. Yours arrives in a private thread called My Daily Digest, which only you can see.

Why it is different

  • It lives in WhatsApp

No app to install and no dashboard to log into. You change your groups, topics and timing by replying in the same thread the digest arrives in.

  • Per-group topic filters

A class group can be narrowed to dates and forms while a work group stays broad. Each group gets its own instruction.

  • Whatever language the group uses

Each group is summarised in the language its members actually write in. There is nothing to configure.

  • On your schedule

Delivered at the hour you pick, in your own timezone. Reply time 9:00 to move it, or now for one on demand.

  • Prepaid, not a subscription

Buy digests up front, from $12. No renewal date, no cancellation to remember, and credits that never expire.

  • Built to hold as little as possible

Only your selected groups are read, content is deleted within 24 hours, and the digests themselves are never stored.

Three steps, once

Setup takes a couple of minutes. After that you never open a browser again.

  1. Connect once

Enter your number and scan a QR code, the same way WhatsApp Web works. Nothing is read until you have picked your groups.

  2. Pick groups and topics

Choose from your active groups — up to 35 — and optionally tell each one what you care about, like dates, forms, payments.

  3. Pick a time

Say when the digest should arrive, in your timezone. From then on it just shows up, and you change anything by replying in WhatsApp.

What happens to your messages

The honest version, not the comfortable one: writing a summary means reading the messages. Here is exactly how little is kept.

  • Only the groups you choose are ever read
  • Message content is encrypted and deleted within 24 hours
  • Your digests are never stored
  • Nothing is used to train an AI model
  • Reply deletemydata to erase your account and everything in it

The one thing kept longer is message timestamps, with no content, so we can tell which of your groups are still active and show you those first.

Pay for the days you use

One digest is one day's summary, however many groups you follow. From 15.0¢ a day.

  • Dip in

    60 digests

    $12 once

    20.0¢ a digest

    • One summary a day, for 60 days
    • Around 2 months of daily delivery
    • Credits never expire
  • All in

    200 digests

    $30 once

    15.0¢ a digest

    • One summary a day, for 200 days
    • Around 7 months of daily delivery
    • Credits never expire

One digest is one day's summary, however many groups you follow. No subscription, no renewal date — you top up when you run low, and we tell you before you do.

Questions

Which of my groups does it read?

Only the ones you pick during setup, and only those. You can follow up to 35 groups, and you can add or remove them at any time by replying in WhatsApp. Groups you have not selected are never read.

Do you store my messages?

Messages from your selected groups are encrypted and held for at most 24 hours so the summary can be written, then deleted. The digests themselves are never stored. Nothing is used to train an AI model. The one thing kept longer is message timestamps, with no content, so we can tell which of your groups are still active.

Do I need to install an app?

No. Setup happens once in your browser, by scanning a QR code the same way WhatsApp Web does. After that everything happens inside WhatsApp — there is no app and no dashboard to log into.

Where does the digest arrive?

In a dedicated WhatsApp thread of your own called My Daily Digest. It stays separate from your real conversations, so your digest never lands in a group where other people can see it.

How do I change my groups or my delivery time?

Reply in that same thread. Send groups to see what you follow, add Book Club to follow another, remove Book Club to drop one, topics Book Club: dates, venue to narrow one down, and time 9:00 to move your delivery time.

What language is the digest written in?

Each group is summarised in the language its members actually write in, so a Hebrew group stays in Hebrew and a Spanish group stays in Spanish. You do not have to configure anything for this.

Can I get only certain topics from a group?

Yes. Each group can have its own topic filter, so a busy class group can be reduced to just the dates, deadlines and anything that needs a reply, and everything else is left out.

What does it cost?

You buy digests up front, from $12 for 60. One digest is one day's summary, no matter how many groups you follow. There is no subscription and no renewal date, and your credits never expire.

What happens when I run out?

We warn you in WhatsApp before you run out. Reply topup to buy more, or topup 20 to pick a specific pack. Delivery pauses rather than charging you for anything you did not ask for.

Can I pause it while I am away?

Reply pause to stop delivery and resume to start it again. A paused account does not spend digests.

How do I delete everything?

Reply deletemydata. That removes your account and everything associated with it.

Is this an official WhatsApp product?

No. DigestIt is an independent product from Baan Software and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta.
